The recent storm toppled our old cherry tree. The saturated ground and 50 MPH winds worked against its large size and weak roots. It was getting old, and branches had started dying off. It's not dead yet -- it is in bloom and new leaves have just popped out. But it has fallen on the telephone and cable TV lines, crushing the 10 foot hedge, leaning out towards the street. It needs to be removed, now.
